Runner's High and del.icio.us cat.egori.es
Sunday. After waking somewhere before 10 AM I realized I had slept for almost thirteen hours! If this is the only side effect of trying to get back to normal night time sleep, it really isn’t nearly as bad as I have feared – unless it refuses to go away after a certain period of time.
The day, warm and sunny, continued as usual – browsing the internet, blogs, reading news and other similar thing that I intend to report on in the future. I also made some further changes to the blog: my Pandora radio profile link was added a few days ago, and today I added Categories feature to make browsing and searching easier (and give the blog a more organised feel). I used the ingenious tag service del.icio.us (read: delicious), owned by Yahoo! since the takeover in December 2005, that I would highly recommend (despite the fact that it’s owned by Yahoo!) to anyone who ever uses bookmarks, seeks information on the internet or simply wants to see what is hiding out there.
Later, just before the sunset, I did my usual running (again focused on breathing) and afterwards, while reading Sensi’s blog, started wondering if I could get “addicted” to endorphin that body produces during long continuous workouts. I might not be a diehard runner yet, but in time, this is bound to happen. My conclusion? It’s healthy, free of charge and you can “get high” by just running enough – what could possibly be better than that?
