Visual Content & Slow Writing

I’ve been thinking about adding some real visual content to my posts – things like picture and video previews. I intended to have  this blog mainly for writing, but after doing some creative thinking in recent days, I made a decision to add at least a picture in each blog entry and perhaps in time turn to video blogging as well. Not just for the looks but mostly because plain writing can be a very limited form of expression sometimes (I’m always trying to prove this one wrong).

I also hope to improve my slow writing (not typing)… the timings are getting better in general, but it still feels silly to write a post for an hour or more. Of course, I’m not exactly focused on writing either – switching between surfing the web, chatting and writing – but gaining some discipline and concentration for 15 minutes wouldn’t hurt. Easier said than done, methinks that it’s time for reading a few articles on that subject...
